The term mumble rap and the hatred for Atlanta hip hop is just ignorance from Americans in other parts of the country and an excuse to shit on the south. I get goosebumps from mumble rap because I cringe. Then I went to Jpop, the only recent American songs I listened to is Bruno Mars. I listened to old American music such as Lesley Gore and some other really old songs. The couple has two children together and have supported each other through. Mumble rap is the reason I didn't even bother with American music from 2016 up to 2020.
